Does your anger sometimes get the better of you?

We all get angry. It’s a normal emotion and, at times, it can tell us that something matters to us or that something needs to change.

But perhaps you find yourself reacting more strongly than you intended, saying things you later regret, or struggling to let an incident go. You might notice it affecting your relationships, your work, or how you feel about yourself.

You may have tried telling yourself to stay calm, only to find that, in the heat of the moment, it’s much harder than it sounds. If that feels familiar, you don’t have to work it out on your own

How I can help

Anger management isn’t about suppressing your feelings or pretending that everything is fine. It’s about understanding what lies behind your anger and finding ways to respond that work better for you.

Together, we can explore your triggers, the thoughts and physical warning signs that accompany your anger, and what happens in the moments before you react. We can also look at rumination: when a moment that lasted seconds continues to replay in your mind for hours, keeping the anger alive.

Using practical strategies suited to your circumstances, I can help you slow things down, consider your options and respond with more choice—even when a situation feels frustrating or unfair.

The aim isn’t to change who you are. It’s to help you feel more in control of how you respond and more comfortable with the choices you make.
